We all know that working out is good for us, but sometimes finding the time and making it a priority can be tricky. Check out this guide to help find the best routine for you, so that being too busy won’t be a valid excuse ever again.
The morning routine
Procrastination is your worst enemy. So instead of telling yourself that you’ll work out later, get it done first thing in the morning. Starting off your day with a workout ensures that you don’t have to skip it because of things that come up during the day. Plus, it boosts your body with energy for the whole day. Most successful Seven users actually work out in the morning, so why not join them?
The break routine
Not a morning person? Try getting in a quick workout during your lunch break instead. Even if you only have a 30 minute break, you can start it with a 7 minute workout and still have plenty of time to enjoy your lunch.
The schedule routine
If you use time management, you can put in a 7 minute workout as part of your daily schedule. Planning your workout like you plan your work and daily routines means you’ll take it more seriously and actually set aside time for it. In Seven you can also go to Settings to schedule your workout times, and then you will automatically be reminded when it’s time to work out.
The children routine
For all of you busy parents out there, try working out with your children! It’s a fun family activity that helps keep all of you happy and healthy, and that way you don’t have to worry about who’s watching them while you’re doing your workout.
The friend routine
A good way to make sure that you don’t get lazy and skip your workout is to do it with a friend. Invite them over for a fun workout and healthy lunch, or perhaps even make it part of your daily routine to work out together. Getting the support and encouragement from a friend really helps keep you focused on your goal. Make to sure to also follow each other in Seven to get even more motivation and accountability.
What works for you? The most important thing is that you find the right way for you to plan your workouts and get the inspiration you need to get the work done. Stick to your plan, but don’t be afraid to try other methods or ideas if you get stuck in your routine.
