This policy applies to all information collected or submitted in our Seven app for iOS and watchOS.
We collect aggregate statistics related to app starts and usage time, workouts started and workouts completed. If you do not sign up for a Seven Account no user identifiable information is collected or sent to us. Your workouts are saved locally on your device and synced through iCloud if you have iCloud enabled on your devices.
If you create a Seven Account to backup & sync your data across devices, and connect with friends to compete and compare your progress, your workout data, achievements, purchase history, account, and body details are stored in our own cloud platform to enable this functionality.
If you have enabled the Health app integration we access your workouts and burned active calories together with your Age, Gender and Weight. This is collected to accurately calculate burned calories, maximum heart rate, and enable Heart Boost functionality across your devices no matter where you entered them. Your body details are never shared with anyone else.
We use information we collect to operate and improve our apps and customer support. We do not share personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish Seven’s functionality.
We may use your email address to send you service and marketing related notices. Those emails can be opted out from with clear and simple instructions in the email.
We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties, such as how many people run a daily workout.
We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
All transfers between the app and our cloud platform uses encrypted communications. We only allow access to our database through our own servers making direct connections to the database from the internet very limited.
All user authorisation happens through Digits by Twitter so we never store any passwords for a Seven Account. The only way for someone to access your data is if you lose your phone. Therefore we recommend you to use a complex passcode or TouchID to unlock the device Seven is installed on.
